Frontend Developer

About the role

A client of NNW Tech Solutions is looking for a Frontend Developer for its SA Digital business. The role is fully responsible for developing and maintaining software products that give clients a seamless experience, working with product teams on rich, interactive applications that help businesses manage their finances and risk exposure.

Key responsibilities

• Own your area of specialisation and all aspects of product development, from stakeholder and user interaction to design, development, deployment, production monitoring and support.
• Build and maintain software products used by businesses to manage their finances and risk exposure.

Required profile

• Significant experience developing user interfaces with TypeScript/JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Extensive knowledge of single-page applications with Angular 2+ and React.
• Good understanding of the DOM and DOM functions.
• Experience with front-end tooling and workflows including Node.js, npm, yarn, webpack, Prettier and ESLint.
• Experience with state management tools such as MobX, Redux, NGXS and NgRx Store.
• Good understanding of Storybook and component-driven atomic design principles.
• Expertise with IDEs such as IntelliJ, Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio 2019 Professional and WebStorm.
• Experience building RESTful web APIs with C# and .NET.
• Familiarity with coding standards such as SOLID.

• OpenAPI specification for designing and consuming APIs.
• ORM tools such as EF Core.
• Testing frameworks (Jasmine/Karma/Jest/NUnit/xUnit) and unit tests.
• End-to-end testing with Cypress and TestCafe.
• CSS-in-JS styling.
• Cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Docker and Kubernetes.
• CI/CD pipeline maintenance.
