Front-End Software Engineer (React)

About the role

Join the team rebuilding the front‑end of one of South Africa’s most widely used banking apps. You will own features from concept through delivery, working in a large codebase that serves over 26 million clients.

Key responsibilities

• Own features and requirements from understanding the problem through to delivery.
• Build and maintain clean, reusable React components.
• Integrate the front‑end with backend services and APIs, troubleshooting issues across the stack.
• Participate actively in code reviews and help shape a modern, maintainable architecture.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with ReactJS and solid JavaScript knowledge.
• Experience designing frontend architecture and reusable components.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
