Freight Forwarder – Air & Sea Logistics

About the role

The Freight Forwarder – Air & Sea Logistics will report to the Estimates Manager and handle pricing and estimates for general cargo using CargoWise, ensuring professional service across air, ocean and road operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and manage pricing exercises and estimates for cargo shipments.
• Coordinate international freight forwarding activities across air, sea and road.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation in CargoWise.
• Collaborate with multicultural, multinational teams and external service providers.
• Ensure punctuality, time‑management and availability for overtime when required.
• Utilise own reliable vehicle for site visits and transport tasks.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in freight forwarding (air, ocean, road).
• Advanced understanding of Incoterms for risk and billing.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work under pressure and maintain professional email etiquette.
• Matriculation required; tertiary qualifications (B.Com Logistics/Supply Chain) advantageous.

Required skills

• CargoWise (preferred).
• Office 365 suite – Teams, OneNote, Forms, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
