First Sales Manager (Consultant) – Fixed-Term

About the role

Vela Personnel is seeking a Manager (Consultant) – First Sales on a fixed‑term basis. The role is responsible for generating high‑value first‑sale enquiries through continuous client networking, preparing technical proposals, and supporting projects from the proposal stage through construction.

Key responsibilities

• Identify project opportunities and discuss alternative technical solutions with clients to develop proposals.
• Provide technical support for first‑sale projects by coordinating with the technical department, local business managers and the Regional First Sales Manager.
• Act as the primary client contact for all technical activities from proposal to construction.
• Develop and localise standard tools such as tender specifications, typical drawings and budgetary estimates.
• Coordinate construction activities, conduct technical audits and monitor quality of execution.
• Ensure accurate CRM utilisation and entry of all first‑sale enquiries.
• Promote technical solutions against conventional alternatives using technical notes, comparison tables and marketing tools.
• Maintain market awareness, competitor knowledge and continuously update technical expertise.

Required profile

• Proven experience in technical sales and project coordination within engineering solutions.
• Strong understanding of tender processes and ability to prepare technical specifications.
• Excellent client‑facing skills and ability to act as the front‑face for technical activities.
• Willingness to live the organisation’s culture and values, demonstrating entrepreneurship and open‑mindedness.
