FinTech Sales Associate

About the role

A financial technology firm specialising in revenue-tracking web applications is looking for a FinTech Sales Associate in Paarl. This hybrid role drives client acquisition through product demonstrations to warm leads, letting you manage your own pipeline within a supportive team that emphasises relationship building rather than high-pressure commissions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging, consultative software demonstrations for qualified, warm leads, explaining the platform's value proposition
• Maintain consistent follow-up with prospects, move them through the conversion process and keep CRM data accurate
• Identify and research new opportunities in the Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) and financial advisory landscape
• Work with the internal team to refine sales messaging, share client feedback and improve conversion metrics

Required profile

• Absolute fluency in written and spoken English and Afrikaans (non-negotiable)
• At least 3 years in a sales, client-facing or financial services role, or a highly driven recent graduate with a relevant degree
• Interest or background in fintech and financial services; a preference for candidates from the financial advisory field
• Comfortable presenting and demonstrating software interfaces to business clients
• Based in or near Paarl for the expected hybrid routine
• Preferred: prior experience with IFAs and existing knowledge of the South African fintech or financial advisory sector
