Financial Planning & Analysis Manager

About the role

The Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will lead the FP&A and finance controlling function for the South Africa market, overseeing financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and risk management to support strategic growth.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver an integrated 3‑year financial plan aligned with the Group’s Growth Blueprint.
• Set and maintain South Africa’s 3‑year financial targets and financial planning model.
• Complete the SBP, Annual Financial Plan and forecasts in line with IFRS/US GAAP standards.
• Manage monthly and quarterly GP close procedures, providing management accounts and variance analysis.
• Train wholesale, retail and cost‑center managers on submission templates.
• Analyse financial risks and opportunities to inform affiliate decision‑making.
• Prepare presentation decks and support the Finance Director in financial reviews.
• Submit annual plans and forecasts into Essbase for consolidation.
• Support leadership with KPI management and special projects to improve financial efficiency.
• Liaise with treasury, tax, HR and supply‑chain teams to ensure aligned business planning.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with CIMA or Chartered Accountant (SA) qualification, or studying towards one.
• 5‑6 years of experience in a similar FP&A or finance controlling role.
• Strong understanding of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
