We are seeking a dynamic Financial Planner to join our established independent brokerage in Bedfordview. The role offers a solid base salary combined with an attractive, uncapped commission structure, allowing you to build a rewarding career serving professional and high‑net‑worth clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage an existing client book, conducting regular portfolio reviews and delivering tailored financial advice.
• Prospect and acquire new clients to expand the practice.
• Develop comprehensive financial plans covering investments, retirement, estate, and tax optimisation.
• Assess risk tolerance and recommend suitable investment and risk products.
• Maintain ongoing communication, cross‑sell relevant services, and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with Financial Service Providers and internal teams to resolve queries.
• Stay informed on market trends, economic developments, and legislative changes.

Required profile

• Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification in Finance (NQF5 Wealth Management or BCom) – non‑negotiable.
• RE5 qualification and appropriate Class of Business approvals – non‑negotiable.
• Fit and Proper status and a valid driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• Minimum three years’ experience in financial planning, preferably with professional or high‑net‑worth clients.
• Strong ethical standards and a proactive, client‑focused mindset.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
