Financial Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Manager to lead our finance function in Johannesburg North. The role will oversee month‑end and year‑end reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow management while supporting strategic decision‑making for our clients in the financial services sector.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end and year‑end financial reporting processes and prepare management accounts.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Manage cash flow, financial controls and ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements.
• Drive process improvements and support strategic initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance team members.
• Liaise with external auditors and ensure timely audit completion.

Required profile

• Relevant finance qualification (CA(SA), CIMA, CGMA, SAIPA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in financial management, preferably within financial services, insurance, asset management or related commercial industries.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management and communication skills.
