Financial Controller

About the role
The organisation is looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead its finance function in Cape Town. This hands‑on professional will ensure accurate reporting, compliance and efficient financial operations while supporting strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting and cash‑flow management.
- Manage month‑end processes, review reconciliations and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide financial insights to senior management and support strategic decisions.
- Maintain and improve internal controls and financial processes.
- Lead and develop a small finance team, fostering a high‑performance environment.
Required profile
- Hands‑on finance professional with strong leadership ability.
- Degree in Accounting or Finance; CA(SA) or CIMA qualification is advantageous.
- Experience in a similar senior finance role, capable of operating both strategically and operationally.
