Financial Controller (CPA) – Remote Healthcare Clinic

About the role

You will step into a critical financial leadership position as a Certified Public Accountant, acting as a quasi‑controller for a multi‑location healthcare clinic. Working remotely, you will own the QuickBooks system, ensure accurate accounting across all sites, and lead a comprehensive data cleanup.

Key responsibilities

• Post all financial transactions into QuickBooks with precision.
• Manage the accounts payable ledger and ensure timely payments.
• Reconcile credit‑card and bank statements monthly.
• Execute end‑of‑month closing processes and keep records up to date.
• Clean up and reorganize existing QuickBooks data for better tracking.
• Maintain consistent financial workflows and proper account categorization.
• Provide financial insights to support business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulations.

Required profile

• Active CPA certification with controller‑level experience in a medical or clinical setting.
• Extensive hands‑on QuickBooks experience, including system setup, cleanup, and optimization.
• Proven full‑cycle accounting background covering AP, ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and month‑end close.
• Direct experience in multi‑location healthcare or infusion‑therapy clinic accounting is a strong plus.
• Ability to work independently while communicating proactively with the team.
