Financial Consultant - OMF Queenstown

About the role

Old Mutual is hiring a Financial Consultant for its OMF team at the Queenstown Nonesi Mall. The consultant meets monthly sales targets for lending and other products, meets collections and arrears targets, educates clients on responsible credit use and money management, builds a new business pipeline through marketing and lead generation, and delivers face-to-face and telephonic customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Meet monthly sales targets for lending and other products, and collections and arrears targets for lending products.
• Educate clients on responsible use of credit and effective money management.
• Establish a new business pipeline through marketing, lead generation and tracking.
• Adhere to internal, regulatory and legislative governance to ensure quality business and mitigate risk.
• Facilitate intra-branch referrals by building mutually beneficial relationships with other business units.
• Provide excellent face-to-face and telephonic service and build sustainable client relationships.
• Deliver on daily production standards and adhere to service and quality standards.
• Manage own time, tasks and output quality for periods of 1 day to a maximum of 3 months, and continuously broaden individual skills.

Required profile

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of sales and/or lending experience with individual sales targets.
• At least 2 years of client service experience.
