Financial Consultant – OMF (PE The Bridge)

About the role

We are looking for an OMF Financial Consultant to join Old Mutual’s PE The Bridge team in South Africa. The role focuses on advising customers on a defined range of financial products, building relationships and contributing to business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide customer service and handle routine inquiries.
• Assess compliance with standards for standard queries and follow mandatory procedures.
• Maintain accurate CRM data and record follow‑up actions after each sales call.
• Interview customers using a multilevel sales script to clarify needs.
• Prospect and develop relationships with allocated potential customers through calls and face‑to‑face meetings.
• Support business development tasks and create sales opportunities by gathering referrals and recommendations.
• Collect and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
• Participate in internal and external networking activities to enhance influence.

Required profile

• Minimum NQF Level 4 – Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work within regulatory and internal compliance frameworks.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a consultative selling approach.

Required skills

• Proficiency with sales software for data management and reporting.
