Financial Analyst

About the role

Sonata One is seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join its global finance team. The role supports financial management, reporting, planning and analysis across the company’s fintech platform. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to provide insight that drives business performance.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue quarterly invoices, manage the sales ledger and minimise debtor days through proactive client relationship management.
• Process purchase invoices, review employee expense claims and handle supplier queries across all group entities.
• Maintain day‑to‑day banking relationships, post and reconcile bank statements, and process payments within an authorisation framework.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, calculate depreciation and contribute to month‑end close activities.
• Own financial analysis for forecasting and budgeting, support the annual audit and local tax return preparation.
• Identify automation opportunities, improve data quality and optimise finance systems and reporting processes.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong analytical abilities with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with large data sets and financial models.
• Proactive communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Familiarity with reporting tools.
