Financial Advisor

About the role

The Financial Advisor will join Old Mutual Limited in Mafikeng, working in a full‑time hybrid model with some work‑from‑home flexibility. You will provide comprehensive financial planning, retirement and investment advisory services tailored to each client’s unique circumstances. The role focuses on helping clients achieve long‑term financial objectives through sound strategy and personalized guidance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present customised financial strategies aligned with client goals.
• Assess client financial situations, risk tolerance and retirement objectives.
• Provide investment advice and portfolio recommendations.
• Maintain ongoing client relationships and monitor progress towards targets.
• Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes and product offerings.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial advisory or planning.
• Strong understanding of finance principles and practices.
• Track record of client satisfaction and meeting performance targets.
• Relevant certifications such as CFP (preferred).
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
