Financial Adviser – Advancing Campaign (Free State)

About the role

Old Mutual is seeking a motivated Financial Adviser to join its Advancing Financial Adviser Campaign in the Free State. This full‑time position is based in Bloemfontein and focuses on delivering long‑term insurance and financial advice to our diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Provide consultative financial advice and sell long‑term insurance products.
• Identify customer needs, qualify prospects, and manage sales opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales data and use sales software to track performance.
• Deliver excellent customer service and manage feedback to improve client relationships.
• Travel within the Free State using a personal vehicle to meet clients.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 months experience as a Financial Adviser in the financial services sector.
• Completion of Long‑term Insurance Class of Business and additional FAIS requirements (e.g., Investments Class of Business, RE5).
• Valid driver’s licence, own car, and clear criminal and credit checks.
