Finance Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead end‑to‑end financial management for our Agri division, operating in the chemicals and agriculture sector across Africa. The role will support strategic and operational decisions through robust reporting, governance and business partnering.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and oversee statutory reporting, tax filings and auditor liaison.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑term financial planning, providing variance analysis and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Manage product costing, inventory valuation and cost‑optimization initiatives for high‑volume production.
• Partner with sales, operations and procurement on pricing, tenders, contracts and working‑capital optimisation.
• Oversee treasury functions, cash‑flow management, banking relationships and foreign‑exchange risk where applicable.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification (CIMA, SAIPA, SAICA).
• 1–5 years post‑articles experience in finance, management accounting, auditing or commercial finance.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, management accounting and costing.
• Ability to work in fast‑paced, regulated environments with high attention to detail.
