Finance Manager

About the role

Our client, a market leader, is seeking a Finance Manager to lead the finance function. The role involves collecting, organising, analysing and reporting financial and management information while providing insights that support strategic business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage finance team members, providing guidance and training.
• Review business budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare monthly BBBEE schedules and scorecards.
• Ensure timely completion of monthly/quarterly deliverables in line with Group deadlines.
• Review and approve monthly general ledger reconciliations.
• Coordinate preparation of external audit materials and direct internal audits.
• Prepare and review financial reports for monthly management meetings.
• Handle annual insurance declarations, tax return schedules and statutory/government returns.
• Monitor weekly cash‑flow forecasts and investigate variances.
• Manage foreign purchase contract cover in line with Group Forex Policy.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Financial Manager.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments.
• Strong knowledge of consolidations, IFRS, tax and VAT.
