About the role
The MFMA structured professional training programme provides high‑quality training and practical exposure in all aspects of a municipal Budget and Treasury Office. It runs for 24 months and aims to develop competencies in municipal finance management in line with the Municipal Finance Management Act.
Required profile
- Matric (Grade 12) qualification
- Relevant NQF Level 6 or 7 qualification in finance‑related fields such as Accounting, Financial Management, Public Finance, Economics, Risk Management or Auditing
- Age between 18 and 35 years
- Preference for permanent residents of the municipality
- People with disabilities are encouraged to apply
- Ability to speak, read and write in at least two official languages (Afrikaans, English, Xhosa)
