Finance Data Engineer (Azure & Power BI)

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data solutions that enable accurate financial reporting and operational decision‑making. You will work closely with finance and operations teams, taking ownership of end‑to‑end data workflows on Microsoft Azure and Fabric.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and applications using Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Data Warehouse, Data Factory).
• Create and optimise SQL data models to support financial analysis and reporting.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions for business stakeholders.
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation, reconciliation, and issue investigation.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and IT teams to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.
• Identify and implement improvements in data processes, automation, and system performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or software engineering, preferably with financial data.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with excellent stakeholder communication skills.
