Finance Business Partner – Africa

About the role

The Finance Business Partner will provide financial oversight, commercial support and strategic insight across multiple African jurisdictions. Reporting to the Group CFO, you will partner with Country Managers and operational leaders to drive performance, improve reporting and manage risk.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Country Managers and operational leaders across Africa
• Analyse financial performance, trends and operational risks across multiple countries
• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reporting tools and management insights
• Review business cases, capital expenditure proposals and expansion opportunities
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes
• Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital and liquidity risks
• Support treasury activities, including foreign exchange exposure and intercompany funding
• Drive financial controls, governance and reporting consistency across the region
• Present meaningful financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and Exco

Required profile

• BCom Accounting, Finance, Management Accounting or equivalent
• CA(SA), CIMA, ACCA or similar professional qualification advantageous
• 5–10+ years of finance experience in a commercial, operational or business partnering environment
• Proven experience working with operations across multiple African countries outside of South Africa
• Strong understanding of cash flow management, foreign exchange exposure and cross‑border transactions
• Willingness and ability to travel into Africa when required
