Finance & Admin Assistant (Remote, Freelance)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Finance & Admin Assistant to support our three‑entity operation across South Africa, Germany and Spain. Working fully remote, you will ensure the financial backbone runs smoothly while collaborating with a lean, international team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file invoices for Lekker Code Germany and South Africa in Google Drive.
• Follow up on open administrative matters and freelancer timesheets.
• Prepare client invoices and answer internal invoice‑related questions.
• Process bank statements in Google Sheets, pay bills across all accounts, and manage inter‑company invoicing between Spain and Germany.
• Coordinate accountants in Spain, Germany and South Africa by gathering and providing required documents.
• Handle payroll processing for employees and track upcoming deadlines, sending timely reminders.

Required profile

• Solid experience in bookkeeping, finance administration or accounts payable/receivable.
• Highly organised, detail‑oriented and deadline‑driven.
• Self‑managed and dependable in a fully remote, cross‑time‑zone setup.
• Fluent English (written & spoken); German is a clear plus.

Required skills

• Confidence with Google Sheets.
• Proficiency in Google Drive.
