Field Sales Representative – North West (Rustenburg)

About the role

The Field Sales Representative will promote KWV liquor brands across the North West region, visiting taverns and other outlets on a contracted call cycle. The role focuses on increasing brand visibility, market share and consumer awareness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and consumers.
• Educate outlets on KWV product range and drive distribution.
• Execute promotions and point‑of‑sale merchandising according to the Main Market Customer Marketing Cycle Plan.
• Handle customer and consumer enquiries, complaints and feedback.
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
• Negotiate display placements, pricing and promotional activities.
• Adhere to the contracted call cycle and ensure compliance with sales drivers.

Required profile

• Matric (Grade 12) qualification; tertiary qualification advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years FMCG experience in the liquor industry (advantageous).
• Valid driver’s licence with at least six months driving experience.
• Full bilingual proficiency in English and a regional language (e.g., Xhosa, Zulu, Tswana).
• Availability for frequent travel and occasional overnight stays.
• Self‑motivated, innovative and able to work independently.

Required skills

• Strong sales, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Good knowledge of local ethnic cultures and consumer behaviour.
• Excellent communication skills in English (reading, writing, speaking).
