About the role
Our client in the agricultural sector in Bloemfontein is looking for a Feed Mill Team Leader in Training. The role involves overseeing feed production, ensuring quality standards, and developing supervisory skills on the shop floor. The position is permanent and offers a negotiable monthly basic salary between R8,000 and R12,000.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct regular quality control checks on feed, verifying ingredient accuracy and product uniformity.
- Manufacture feed according to established formulas and quality standards while supervising staff to follow procedures.
- Troubleshoot production issues and equipment malfunctions promptly to minimise downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations.
Required profile
- National Senior Certificate equivalent to NQF4.
- At least one year of supervisory experience (advantageous).
- Knowledge of feed mill machinery and equipment (advantageous).
- Valid RSA driver’s licence with reliable transport.
- Strong communication and organisational abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
