External Sales Representative – Bilingual (English/Afrikaans)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive External Sales Representative to cover the Tshwane, Polokwane, Brits, Rustenburg and surrounding areas. The role is field‑based, requiring strong relationship building with existing and potential customers in Johannesburg and its environs. Bilingual fluency in English and Afrikaans is essential.

Key responsibilities

• Market and sell company products and services to existing and prospective customers.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the assigned territories.
• Complete call reports and, when required, deliver products and services to customers.
• Report non‑conforming products, service issues, and customer complaints to management.
• Provide feedback on product performance, deliveries, and queries.
• Assess customer satisfaction levels and address any dissatisfaction.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the industrial tool market or a similar sector.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently with a strong sense of initiative and urgency.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
• Reliable, committed and able to meet targets.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM software.
• Strong command of the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Basic salary of R4,000 plus commission, with a guaranteed R25,000 per month for the first six months.
