External Sales Consultant (FAIS) - Citrusdal

About the role

Absa is hiring an External Sales Consultant (FAIS) based in Citrusdal. The consultant drives sales growth (volume and value) and service delivery competitiveness by owning their performance targets, supporting collaborative sales between relationship banking, business bank and corporate bank, and building networks and relationships that generate leads and raise Absa's visibility across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver all individual performance targets for the allocated portfolio of external sales activities, including Inclusive Banking, Entry Level and Bulk Acquisition Sales in the B2C environment
• Plan and run education on Absa's value proposition to customers and support migration targets in the area
• Represent Absa at external sales engagements such as workplace banking schemes, public forums, major events and festivals
• Identify and convert leads, and turn prospects into business opportunities
• Proactively engage existing clients on new products, services and migration strategies
• Manage daily sales planning, campaign execution and time management to meet benchmarks
• Resolve client queries and complaints, aiming for a customer experience score above 92%
• Contribute to the External Sales team and region, monitor peer performance and share best practices
• Follow sales disciplines, risk and regulatory requirements, and ensure accurate reporting and documentation

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Banking
• Ability to work in a high-dependency environment focused on New to Bank and New to Transact acquisition
