Export Administrator & Internal Sales – Midrand

About the role

This position combines export administration with internal sales support for a logistics company based in Midrand, Johannesburg. You will ensure smooth export processes while handling customer orders and coordinating with internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review import/export documentation such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and customs declarations.
• Enter customer orders, follow up on quotations and coordinate sales entry within the department.
• Collaborate with sales, purchasing, finance and warehouse teams to align import and export activities.
• Classify goods using correct customs tariff codes and verify export licence requirements.
• Identify cost‑optimisation opportunities through efficient shipping methods and routing.
• Maintain communication with customs agents, freight forwarders, haulers and internal sites.
• Monitor export sales transactions, resolve customer issues and support audit activities.
• Assist with incoming goods clearance, SADC forms and ensure all supplier paperwork is available.

Required profile

• Experience with export documentation and customs compliance.
• Knowledge of Incoterms, trade tariffs and SADC regulations.
• Ability to work closely with multiple internal departments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
