Executive Director, Commercial Growth & Digital Ecosystems

About the role

This senior executive position reports directly to the CEO and sits on the Executive Leadership Team. You will be responsible for building and scaling a brand‑new commercial growth function that leverages technology platforms, data services and ecosystem partnerships to generate new revenue streams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, design and execution of a zero‑revenue commercial growth engine focused on technology platforms and data services.
• Identify, evaluate and drive M&A opportunities that enhance the organisation’s technology or data capabilities.
• Shape and monetise new technology ecosystems, selling platform access, infrastructure services and specialised solutions such as cyber, risk and data.
• Develop and implement go‑to‑market strategies, client engagement frameworks and commercial models to ensure sustainable revenue growth.
• Represent the organisation to industry stakeholders, regulators and the Board, influencing the strategic direction of commercial innovation.
• Build, mentor and lead a high‑performing, agile division from inception, defining structure and talent needs.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years of senior leadership experience, including at least 6 years at executive level with regular Board and Exco interaction.
• Proven track record of enterprise‑wide commercial or growth strategy ownership.
• Strong exposure to technology‑led business models, platform/ecosystem growth, strategic partnerships and complex commercial environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage governance, stakeholder relationships and long‑term value creation.
