ESB Finance Analyst

About the role

The ESB Finance Analyst ensures accurate monthly financial reporting, monitors working capital and operational efficiencies, and maintains a strong control environment for Ford Protect and FCSD South Africa, including Sub‑Saharan and Northern Africa regions. This hands‑on position links finance with operations, purchasing and regional GBS teams to reflect the true financial impact of the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Validate monthly financials, develop forecasts for revenue, technical and marketing expenses, and consolidate Business Operating Data for SSA and NAF regions.
• Investigate and resolve Procure‑to‑Pay bottlenecks, train local teams on Goods Receipt procedures, and manage journal entries for multiple entities.
• Conduct warehouse walk‑throughs, oversee inventory cycle counts, and close local control gaps.
• Prepare and present monthly and quarterly account reconciliations, ensuring high‑risk reserves are accurate.
• Calculate annual FCSD transfer price updates, perform loss‑ratio and ROI analyses for marketing programs.
• Support internal and external audits (including PWC), execute MCRP testing and maintain control documentation.
• Manage SAF‑specific requirements such as Guardrisk, Pinn Bordereaux, MXSI commissions and related billings.
• Analyze cost and margin variances in collaboration with material cost and pricing teams.
