Enrolled Nurse – Oncology

About the role
A vacancy exists for an Enrolled Nurse at Life Groenkloof Hospital in Johannesburg, reporting to the Unit Manager of the Oncology B Unit. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality patient care in accordance with company objectives and health‑nursing legislation.
Key responsibilities
- Attend and participate in quality programmes, QMS audits and ward meetings.
- Complete monthly quality evaluator cards and report to shift leader or unit manager.
- Maintain infection‑control standards, PPE usage and safety measures.
- Administer accurate stock, report patient movements, and ensure proper equipment maintenance.
- Provide patient hygiene, comfort and safety according to nursing care plans, including wound care and fluid monitoring.
Required profile
- Qualification as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Experience working in an Oncology ward.
- Registration with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- Ability to work shifts as required by hospital operations.
- Computer proficiency is an advantage.
