Enrolled Nurse – ICU

About the role

The Intensive Care Unit at Life Hilton Hilton Private Hospital is seeking an Enrolled Nurse to deliver high‑quality patient care. Reporting to the ICU/HC Unit Manager, you will work within a multidisciplinary team to support critically ill patients.

Key responsibilities

• Perform nursing duties that meet quality patient‑care standards and comply with SANC regulations and Life Healthcare policies.
• Maintain health, safety and infection‑control standards to ensure a safe environment.
• Utilise resources efficiently and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Accurately record patient information and clinical observations.
• Provide patient education and support continued learning.
• Build effective relationships with patients, doctors and other medical personnel.

Required profile

• Qualified Enrolled Nurse with registration on the South African Nursing Council (SANC) register.
• Previous experience working in an ICU environment.
• Willingness to work shifts according to hospital operational requirements.
• Understanding of the private healthcare industry is an advantage.
• Basic computer proficiency is an advantage.
