Enrolled Nurse – High Care (Hospital Group)

About the role
We are seeking an Enrolled Nurse to join a high‑care unit within a hospital group in Cape Town. The role involves delivering safe, cost‑effective patient care in line with hospital standards and policies, while supporting both direct and indirect nursing activities.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Contribute to holistic patient care and promote health and wellbeing.
- Ensure a therapeutic, clean and safe environment free from medico‑legal hazards.
- Attend shift handovers and participate in the unit’s quality‑improvement programme.
- Communicate effectively with patients about their care.
- Refer patient or doctor complaints to the Sister‑in‑Charge.
- Complete departmental duties assigned by supervisors within required timeframes.
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC) as an Enrolled Nurse.
- Compliance with the SANC code and relevant health‑care legislation.
- Computer literacy.
- Flexibility to work varied hours and shifts.
