Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary (Theatre)

About the role

Eden Gardens Private Hospital is looking for an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary (Theatre) to report to the Unit Manager. The successful candidate will join the multidisciplinary team and help ensure that every patient receives comprehensive, quality nursing care. The position is permanent.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver service-excellent, caring nursing care and quality care delivery.
• Take part in in-service programmes and share experience, skills and knowledge within the scope of practice.
• Keep legal records of all patient care interventions.
• Manage stock and assets effectively and efficiently.
• Motivate team members to show discretion and initiative, and foster a team spirit.
• Show leadership, self-regulation, self-motivation and self-control, and maintain fair, assertive interpersonal relations.

Required profile

• Registered with the South African Nursing Council as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary.
• Two years' experience performing theatre flooring and anaesthetic nursing duties.
• Nursing experience in the private health sector.
• Able to work as part of a team.
