English Teacher – Senior Phase

About the role

ADvTECH is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher for the Senior Phase to join its network of prestigious schools. You will deliver a rigorous, future‑focused curriculum while fostering a supportive and inspiring learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess an academic programme that promotes emotional, social and intellectual wellbeing.
• Guide students in subject‑choice decisions and encourage them to reach their full potential.
• Maintain accurate academic assessment, reporting and student behaviour management.
• Act as a brand ambassador, supporting school administration, health & safety, and community partnerships.

Required profile

• Degree (NQF level 7) with PGCE or B.Ed (Senior Phase or FET).
• SACE certification and a valid police clearance.
• 2‑5 years teaching experience; specialist subject experience if applicable.
• Computer and digital literacy, First Aid certification.
