Engineering Recruitment Consultant – Pretoria

About the role

Join Network Recruitment’s Engineering division as a Recruitment Consultant based in Pretoria. You will act as a trusted talent partner, linking highly‑skilled engineers with leading South African organisations across infrastructure, manufacturing and project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and nurture relationships with engineering firms, EPC contractors, manufacturers and consulting businesses.
• Build and maintain a specialist network of engineers across Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Civil, Electronic and Project disciplines.
• Source, engage and interview high‑calibre candidates and manage the full recruitment lifecycle.
• Identify new business opportunities, secure exclusive recruitment partnerships and advise clients on market trends.
• Negotiate offers and ensure successful placements while meeting monthly sales and placement targets.

Required profile

• Strong communication, negotiation and relationship‑building abilities.
• Commercially driven, results‑oriented and comfortable working in a target‑focused environment.
• Interest in engineering, technical industries or manufacturing.
• Self‑motivated, resilient and able to thrive independently.
• Previous experience in sales, recruitment, engineering, manufacturing or business development is advantageous but not mandatory.
