End Controller – Internal Applications (Malekana Mall)

About the role

The End Controller is responsible for ensuring that all stock and fixed assets leaving the store are properly documented and that customer returns are accurately recorded. This role operates within the internal applications of the Malekana Mall store and supports the overall security and inventory integrity of Cashbuild.

Key responsibilities

• Verify and record all documentation for stock and asset movements leaving the store.
• Ensure customer returns are logged in the End Controller book and authorised.
• Maintain control of entry/exit doors and loading shutters, keeping them closed when not in use.
• Conduct random employee searches when leaving the store and report suspicious behaviour.
• Provide fast, friendly service to customers during check‑in and check‑out of goods.
• Sign end‑control keys in and out daily and ensure backup coverage during shift changes.

Required profile

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• At least 1‑2 years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to communicate in English and the dominant local language.
• Strong numeracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to work under pressure, including shifts, weekends and public holidays.
