About the role

The Department of Emergency Medicine at MetroHealth System is expanding its faculty team. We seek an Emergency Medicine Physician with EMS subspecialty certification to join a leading academic and tertiary‑care environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality clinical care in a Level I Adult Trauma and Burn Center.
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows in emergency medicine.
• Engage in research and scholarly activities aligned with the academic mission.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in departmental service, quality improvement, and community outreach.

Required profile

• MD or DO degree.
• Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine.
• EMS subspecialty certification (fellowship track).
• Excellent clinical and technical competence.
• Strong interest in teaching and academic collaboration.
