Electronic/Digital Technician

About the role

Join a leading supplier of scientific and laboratory equipment as an Electronic/Digital Technician. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing complex electronic instruments used by research and industrial clients across Sub‑Saharan Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair digital electronic laboratory instruments on a daily basis.
• Perform routine calibration of equipment directly at client sites.
• Diagnose and replace faulty hardware components and complex circuit boards.
• Document all service activities and maintain accurate repair logs.
• Keep the testing workspace clean, organized, and safe.

Required profile

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related digital field.
• Minimum three years of experience repairing electronic equipment.
• Positive attitude with a strong willingness to learn.
• Good teamwork skills and high attention to detail.
• Valid South African driver’s licence for client visits.
