Electrical Technician – Facilities Maintenance

About the role

CBRE Excellerate is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its facilities management team. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of electrical systems across commercial and industrial sites.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on low‑voltage electrical installations, lighting systems, distribution boards, generators and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, responding promptly to breakdowns and emergency work orders.
• Conduct routine inspections, testing and compliance checks of electrical equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and safety documentation.
• Adhere to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) requirements and relevant electrical standards.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate and a valid driver’s licence.
• Preferably postgraduate studies in Electrical or Mechanical engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical maintenance, fault finding and reticulation within commercial, industrial or facilities‑management environments.
