Electrical Graduate Project Engineer – Solar PV

About the role
This graduate position supports the design team in delivering solar PV projects across the Cape Town region. You will be involved in the full lifecycle of solar installations, from concept design to hand‑over, while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑growing renewable energy environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design solar PV systems for rooftop, ground‑mount and storage applications.
- Create mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics.
- Compile Bills of Quantity (BOQ) for project cost estimation.
- Obtain and drive regulatory approvals.
- Perform quality control on designed systems.
- Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Manage project execution from site establishment to internal hand‑over.
Required profile
- BEng or BSc degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 0‑3 years of relevant experience or a final‑year project focused on solar energy.
- South African citizenship.
