About the role
The Department of Infrastructure, Western Cape Government is seeking a suitably qualified and competent Electrical Engineering Technician. The role involves rendering technical services and support in engineering research, design, manufacturing, operations and maintenance, primarily for health infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical services and support for engineering research activities.
- Assist in the design of electrical systems and components.
- Support manufacturing processes related to electrical engineering.
- Contribute to the operation of electrical equipment and systems.
- Aid in the maintenance of electrical installations and infrastructure.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated competence in delivering technical services.
- Ability to work across research, design, manufacturing, operations and maintenance functions.
