Economics Professor – Remote Contract (up to $90/hr)

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Economics Professor to join our remote team on a contract basis. You will create precise, benchmark-quality responses to advanced economics prompts that will be used to train and evaluate AI models.

Key responsibilities

• Produce clear, comprehensive answers to complex economics questions.
• Review and validate economics data, queries, and proposed solutions for accuracy.
• Develop robust explanations across a wide range of economics concepts.
• Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine project requirements.
• Create "golden responses" that serve as training benchmarks.
• Document the context and rationale behind each response to improve model interpretability.

Required profile

• PhD in Economics or a closely related field.
• Proven expertise in economics with a strong analytical mindset.
• Experience developing, reviewing, or publishing scientific or educational economics material.
• Broad familiarity with multiple economics sub‑disciplines and ability to tailor explanations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and methodological rigor.
