EC&I Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an EC&I Engineer to design, implement and optimise electrical, control and instrumentation systems for large‑scale industrial projects. You will work alongside multidisciplinary teams, providing technical expertise from concept design through to commissioning and client handover.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical, control and instrumentation solutions for industrial, manufacturing, mining, oil & gas or petrochemical projects.
• Create and review P&IDs, control philosophies, loop diagrams and functional design specifications.
• Select and specify instrumentation, LV power systems, motor control centres and field devices.
• Support commissioning, fault‑finding, system optimisation and client handover.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, electrical regulations and project specifications.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders and manage technical documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• BEng/BSc/BTech in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics or Instrumentation Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation engineering within industrial environments.
• Experience with PLC, SCADA and DCS platforms.
• Proven ability to develop detailed design documentation and support commissioning activities.
• Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
