About the role
We are looking for an experienced EC&I Design Draughtsman to join our EPCM consulting engineering team in Woodmead. The role focuses on delivering accurate electrical, control and instrumentation designs and includes exposure to transmission line projects.
Key responsibilities
- Produce and update EC&I drawings such as schematics, layouts and wiring diagrams.
- Support transmission line design work using PLS‑CADD.
- Ensure designs comply with project specifications and industry standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Maintain drawing registers and related documentation.
Required profile
- Relevant draughting qualification.
- Proven experience in EC&I design.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor and AutoCAD (essential).
- Experience with PLS‑CADD (essential).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Required skills
- Autodesk Inventor.
- AutoCAD.
- PLS‑CADD.
- 3D racking using AutoCAD or Revit.
- EPLAN.
- MicroStation.
