E-Commerce Customer Liaison – Luxury Home Décor

About the role

We are looking for a motivated E‑Commerce Customer Liaison to join our high‑end luxury home‑decor brand in Bellville, Cape Town. You will be the primary point of contact for online shoppers, delivering exceptional service across multiple digital channels and helping customers create beautiful interiors.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to customer enquiries via telephone, WhatsApp, Shopify Inbox, email and social media promptly.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipment of orders.
• Process returns, exchanges and refunds while adhering to brand policies.
• Support payment processing and troubleshoot account‑related issues.
• Maintain deep knowledge of Hertex HAUS products and recommend complementary items.
• Assist customers with website navigation and resolve technical problems.
• Collect customer feedback and prepare reports to improve service and product offerings.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in customer service or retail.
• Strong communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Interest or background in interior design is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Shopify and other e‑commerce platforms.
• Experience using CRM systems.
• Comfort with social media platforms for customer interaction.
• Basic technical troubleshooting skills.
