E-Commerce and Digital Marketing Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an E‑Commerce and Digital Marketing Specialist to drive online sales growth and enhance the digital brand experience for a leading importer and distributor of sporting apparel. You will manage the full digital retail ecosystem across brand websites and third‑party marketplaces.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and scale brand sites, Takealot, and other digital marketplaces.
• Optimize commercial performance – revenue, conversion, customer retention and marketplace rankings.
• Oversee daily digital merchandising, product listings, promotional pricing and customer journey optimisation.
• Ensure visual premium standards and operational efficiency across all platforms.
• Coordinate inventory forecasting, operational logistics and customer service online.
• Analyse performance data, produce reports and drive strategic digital growth initiatives.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years experience in e‑commerce platform or marketplace management.
• Proven ability to manage online retail platforms and drive commercial results.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
• Experience in sports retail, running, nutrition or active‑wear sectors is advantageous.
• Proactive, self‑managed and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.
