Domain Architect: Finance & Risk

About the role

OM Bank is looking for a Domain Architect for its Finance and Risk domains. The role leads the architectural vision and strategy, bridging business and IT so that solutions are scalable, secure and compliant. It acts as a trusted advisor to the CFO and the Finance department, and ensures alignment with business goals, regulatory requirements and technology standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain baseline and future-state domain architecture and roadmap for Risk and Finance
• Derisk the domain and make it compliant, keeping the audit funding rate at zero
• Translate finance and risk policies into architectural guidelines and technical solutions
• Ensure alignment with enterprise standards, regulatory frameworks and security controls, including data governance
• Act as subject matter expert in regulatory reporting, financial risk management (credit, market, operational risk), accounting and general ledger systems, and compliance and audit requirements
• Design scalable, secure solutions on platforms such as Oracle Financial Services and lead API and microservices integration, working with DevOps teams
• Partner with business leaders, IT teams and external vendors, and mentor system architects and developers
• Contribute to global standards, collaborate across domains such as Payments and Trade Finance, and maintain architecture artifacts through reviews and a domain decision registry

Required profile

• Minimum 8-12 years in banking or financial services, with at least 3 years in architecture roles
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Finance or a related field
• Certifications in enterprise architecture (e.g. TOGAF), cloud platforms (e.g. Azure, AWS) or financial systems
• Experience with Oracle, Python and service-oriented architectures

Required skills

• Strong end-to-end cloud knowledge, especially AWS and Azure
• Deep understanding of finance and risk processes, systems and regulations
• Knowledge of accounting principles and security and compliance frameworks
