Distributor Manager

About the role

We are looking for a commercially focused, relationship‑driven Distributor Manager to support the Regional Director in overseeing our South African distribution partnership. You will act as the primary day‑to‑day contact for the distributor, ensuring the execution of commercial and marketing strategies that drive market growth and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with the in‑market distribution partner.
• Serve as the distributor’s main point of contact for operational and executional needs.
• Lead implementation of the Integrated Business Operating Rhythm (IBOR) and align stakeholders.
• Support development and rollout of Route‑to‑Consumer (RTC) plans and capability‑building tools.
• Hold the partner accountable for channel plans, merchandising standards, and customer activation.
• Ensure marketing campaigns and activation programmes are executed in priority outlets.
• Prepare, review and comment on monthly RTC and commercial performance reports.
• Coordinate new product launches and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Analyse sales, stock, forecasts, distribution metrics and market share to identify opportunities and risks.

Required profile

• Commercially minded with strong relationship‑building abilities.
• Analytical mindset capable of interpreting performance data.
• Experience working with distribution partners in a consumer‑goods environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
