About the role
Dis-Chem Pharmacies is offering a fixed-term dispensary support position at its Northridge Mall store in Bloemfontein, as part of a learner basic pharmacist assistant training pathway. The initial fixed-term employment lasts until the candidate registers as a SAPC learner; permanent employment is offered only after qualification.
Key responsibilities
- Complete the learner basic pharmacist assistant course.
- Assist with stock merchandising and dispensing under pharmacist supervision.
- Maintain accurate medication picking, packing and labelling.
- Assist with patient service and script tracking.
Required profile
- Grade 12 with Pure Mathematics at least 50%, and Life Science and/or Physical Science at average at least 50%.
- Passed the proficiency test for SAPC learner basic registration.
- South African citizen.
- Clear criminal and credit records.
- English and second-language communication.
- Computer and numerical skills.
