Director of Learning Science (Remote)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior academic leader to drive its evidence‑based learning model. The Director of Learning Science will translate rigorous learning science into practical frameworks that guide curriculum, motivation architecture, and product design, while serving as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning science research into actionable guidance for curriculum development and application design.
• Conduct execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and outcome‑driven performance across school sites.
• Integrate data, interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments to identify obstacles and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through structured planning, feedback loops, and milestone oversight.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, including keynote presentations and meetings with Ministries of Education.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in academic or EdTech leadership roles, managing teams and driving measurable outcomes.
• Proven track record of creating and validating learning interventions with documented impact.
