Director of Academic Excellence – Remote (AI‑Driven Learning)

About the role

2 Hour Learning is seeking a senior leader to own and scale its evidence‑based academic model. The Director of Academic Excellence will translate learning‑science research into operational systems that enable students to achieve outcomes in just two hours per day, leveraging AI‑driven tutoring and mastery‑based pathways.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic frameworks that turn learning‑science principles into actionable curriculum, motivation, and product guidelines.
• Conduct structured execution reviews with Heads of Academics to ensure alignment, accountability, and measurable progress across all school sites.
• Integrate quantitative data, qualitative interviews, and observations into ecosystem assessments that pinpoint high‑impact barriers and recommend targeted interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through continuous planning, feedback loops, and milestone oversight focused on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning publicly as the senior voice in keynote presentations, ministry engagements, and other high‑stakes forums.

Required profile

• Proven track record articulating and delivering a clear academic vision at scale.
• Hands‑on experience designing operational systems grounded in learning‑science research.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive measurable student outcomes.
• Comfort presenting complex evidence‑based models to external stakeholders, including education ministries.
